This is Kerusso- the School of the Kingdom.
(I’m there in the front row! third from the left. Can you see me?)
Kerusso means:
- to be a herald, to officiate as a herald
- to proclaim after the manner of a herald
- always with the suggestion of formality, gravity and an authority which must be listened to and obeyed
- to publish, proclaim openly: something which has been done
- used of the public proclamation of the gospel and matters pertaining to it, made by John the Baptist, by Jesus, by the apostles and other Christian teachers
In short Kerusso means: To preach and proclaim the Gospel of the Kingdom.
The vision of Kerusso is to raise a people who passionately love Jesus and desire to take the transforming culture of the Kingdom into every sphere of life. Daily walking in their identity and authority as sons and daughters in Gods Kingdom, doing the things that Jesus did. ”Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out demons. Freely you have received, freely give.” Matthew 10:7-8. ”For the Kingdom of God is not a matter of talk but of Power” 1 Cor 4:20
Our heart is to equip participants in the Word and the power of the Holy Spirit. Creating a place to cultivate a Kingdom mindset that empowers you to boldly proclaim Jesus, and see heaven invade this world through salvations, healings, signs and wonders. We provide a safe, loving, and dynamic environment to grow in Prophetic evangelism through learning to discern the voice of God with clarity and integrity. We want to demonstrate the truth of the Gospel of the Kingdom, by bringing transformation to the streets, cities and nations, all birthed out of worship, intercession and an intimate relationship with Jesus.
Its a call to boldness, radical love, and a desire to join with God in seeing the reality of Heaven come to earth, everywhere you go.
It has been an intense few weeks of learning here in Herrnhut. We have had speakers from England, Zimbabwe, and Holland who have brought wisdom and passion to us. Truly it has been a blessing.
In 5 weeks we leave for outreach in South Africa and Botswana.
Already God is opening crazy doors and moving in exciting ways.
His Kingdom is advancing. Revival is coming!
The words that Brennan recently heard.
See! The winter is past;
the rains are over and gone.
Flowers appear on the earth;
the season of singing has come,
the cooing of doves
is heard in our land.
The fig tree forms its early fruit;
the blossoming vines spread their fragrance.
Arise, come, my darling;
my beautiful one, come with me.
Be at peace, you old ragamuffin.

Words to Live By
But I wonder more and more if the first thing shouldn’t be to know people by name, to eat and drink with them, to listen to their stories and tell your own, and to let them know with words, handshakes, and hugs that you do not simply like them, but truly love them!
